Les Anthony is a Reservoir Engineer with strong background in commercial analysis, strategy formulation for growth, long term planning with a focus on exploration programs, and analysis of business development opportunities. 42+ years’ experience spanning wellsite operations, large frontier developments, onshore and offshore, including deepwater, international negotiation, and capital allocation—with a leadership role. Experience in large corporate environments (BP London and Anchorage) and as part of smaller teams in mid-size and independent companies (Woodside Energy /Kosmos Energy). He has particular interest in analyzing the deliverability of commercial and production goals through an understanding of the pace of execution (drill, appraise, develop, produce) and the associated risks, timing and uncertainty. Having worked in over twenty countries in over five languages, he has comfort in dealing across a variety of cultural environments. He has moderate comprehension of written and spoken Spanish, and a beginning to moderate comprehension of written and spoken French.
Les received a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics in 1976 and a bachelor’s degree in Physics with Honors in 1977 from the University of Texas at Austin. He received a master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 1984.
Fredrick LeGrand is a Reservoir/Evaluation Engineer with 39 years’ experience working both onshore and offshore, US and Canada, focusing on conventional exploitation and development programs and unconventional analysis methodologies. His extensive technical skillset combined with a goal centered focus and strong leadership qualities has proven successful throughout his career. He has experience in advanced decline curve analysis – RTA, pressure transient analysis, well testing and test design, nodal analysis and pipeline models, openhole log analysis, GIS mapping systems – PETRA, economic analysis – ARIES, and classical petroleum engineering.
Fred is an accomplished team leader/manager possessing strong interdisciplinary knowledge, problem solving, and organizational skills. He has a history of successful drilling and development throughout his career.
Fred received a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Grand Valley State College in 1978, and a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University in 1982.
Randy Remington is an Exploration Geophysicist with 28 years’ experience in prospect generation and evaluation. His experience ranges from research with the Bureau of Economic Geology developing new technologies and methodologies for finding hydrocarbons, to direct subsurface evaluation for E&P companies in order to increase oil production and portfolio value with emphasis on hydrocarbon volumetric estimation and geologic risk assessment. His specialties are 3D/3C seismic interpretation, geological & geophysical integration, seismic attribute analysis, and seismic stratigraphy. He has proficiency and certification in multiple geoscience software platforms. He has unconventional reservoir experience, as well as offshore experience in domestic and international basins. He has a moderate comprehension of written and spoken Spanish.
Randy received a bachelor’s degree in Geology from The University of Texas at Austin in 1992. He is professionally licensed in Geophysics from the Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists since 2003, and he is a member of the Society of Exploration Geophysics.
Victor Somerfeld has 21+ years’ experience working as a Development / Exploration Geologist for operator and service companies in the oil and gas industry. Extensive experience working in multidisciplinary teams with reservoir engineers, geophysicists and production engineers. His main skill is the construction of geocellular models in Petrel to obtain a representative static model of the reservoir, integrating well information, 2D / 3D seismic interpretations and petrophysical data into the model. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
Victor has experience in the generation of drilling proposals of development, appraisal and exploratory wells, sequence stratigraphy analysis, geological description, reservoir characterization and data analysis, with proven skills in geological/reservoir mapping. He has evaluation experience of unconventional plays (Eagle Ford -Texas-, Niobrara -Colorado-), qualitative and advanced quantitative petrophysical log analysis interpretation, extensive and detailed mapping / interpretation of multiple horizons, analysis of seismic attributes, and preparation of detailed structural, stratigraphic and amplitude maps. Victor also has experience in reserve estimation, risk analysis and evaluation of new prospects, as well as identifying key uncertainties and calculating probabilistic ranges impacting STOIIP/GIIP.
Victor received a Bachelor of Science in Geology from The University of Cordoba, Argentina in 1999.
